Pricing estimates

The estimator adds the displayed HexaPay price to modeled bank and card-network costs. The current model assumes 1.40% for in-person card costs and 1.81% for recurring and online card costs. These assumptions are not guaranteed pass-through rates.

Review-required businesses

Some business types, payment models, volumes, products, and services require eligibility and underwriting review. A displayed estimate is illustrative and does not guarantee approval or final pricing.

Volume pricing

Standard card pricing does not step down solely because a visitor selects a higher expected volume. ACH pricing is 0.25% + 30¢ per submitted payment unless a merchant agreement states otherwise.

Platforms and software providers

Platform, marketplace, facilitator, and multi-merchant models require a separate program consultation. Selecting that profile does not initiate self-service merchant onboarding or imply approval for payment-facilitation activity.

ACH

The public estimate includes ACH submission fees separately from card volume when ACH activity is entered. Availability is subject to underwriting. Returns, chargebacks, optional services, and other activity-based fees are separate.

Customer-paid card programs

Customer-paid card programs are optional, disabled by default, and available only after merchant, location, channel, provider, and legal review. Any surcharge applies only to an eligible credit card and is limited to the lowest applicable merchant acceptance cost, network cap, provider-approved cap, and jurisdiction limit. Debit, prepaid, and gift cards are excluded.

The exact fee and final total must be shown before authorization and itemized on the receipt. Full and partial refunds include the associated full or proportional surcharge. The purchase amount, eligible credit-card fee, and final card total must be displayed before authorization. A no-fee bank-payment option remains available where required.

Equipment terms

A qualifying processing agreement may provide one PAX terminal per location with no upfront hardware charge. Ownership, minimum term, shipping, replacement, return, and early-termination recovery are defined in the signed equipment agreement. Additional terminals have hardware and shipping costs plus a $15 monthly active-terminal fee.
